The big news this week was - TREVOR CAME HOME! (And just beat the hurricane that's headed straight for Houston in the process.)
Sunday we went to the Great Cockrow Railway, a miniature steam railway that you get to ride around on. It was very cool, and the girls really enjoyed it (so did I!) Trevor spent the day working. :-(
Monday we went into Guildford to do some shopping for wet weather gear.
Tuesday we spent some time with Trevor's brother and sister and then got the house ready for Trevor to come home.
Wednesday morning we met Trevor's 7:00 am arrival flight to Gatwick and spent the day together as a family - we went for a walk&talk and we generally caught up with one another.
Thursday we went to Oxford and then on the way back stopped at Windsor and took pictures of the castle to say that we'd seen it. At some stage we may go back to 'do' Windsor properly.
Today we've done laundry and groceries and cleaning and cooking and Trevor's been in to work again. In other words, its mostly been a fairly boring week to see in a blog or weekly email, but it was exciting and wonderful because it brought us back together again as a family, which made all the difference.
Hopefully over the weekend I'll have some time to fill in some thoughts we've been thinking in more detail on the blog. Until then!
