We made it! We're now at my parents place in Woking, UK. The flight went well, we had a bit of a panic when we arrived at the house and realised we were missing a suitcase, but I went back to the airport and got it from the baggage hall without to much grief.
We're still getting over jetlag, and still wondering why exactly we're here. Hopefully things will become clear over the next few days. My job interview has been moved back to the 10th of August, so we have a few days to visit with family and do the tourist thing.
